All custom zine printing in Edmonton is printed in our shop using state of the art HP Indigo digital offset presses. Digital zine printing lets us print any design and style that you can conceive. From black and white retro comic book style to full colour glam magazine design styles and everything in between, digital is the way to go for zine printing. Papers that we offer range from light weight to heavy duty, so you can pick the cover and inside page material to create the zine touch and feel you’re after.
Zine binding is also an opportunity to create a unique look and feel for your zine publishing project. Choose from true magazine style binding (called perfect binding) or comic book style staple binding (called saddle stitch binding) to hold your pages together. The magazine style (perfect binding) creates a more upscale, durable binding for your zine project. Comic book style (saddle stitch) binding can be a bit less durable than magazine style binding, but this method does allow your zines to lie completely flat, when open. Magazine style (perfect bound) binding will cost more than comic book (saddle stitch) binding. The comic book style is the most popular choice for zine printing.
