Wire binding can be confused with other types of binding, such as saddle stitch binding and coil binding. Wire binding uses a closed set of wire “o’s” to bind your pages together on the outside of the spine. While saddle stitch does use wire to bind your pages together, the wire is pushed through the spine and then clipped to create a “stapple”, to hold pages together. This is the type of binding often used for comic books and smaller catalogs.
